Shipping & live arrival

We ship live forktail blue-eyes anywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We don't ship outside the US.

Shipping method and days

We ship with FedEx, overnight or 2-day when possible. We ship Monday through Wednesday so packages never sit in a FedEx depot over the weekend. Shipping usually runs about $50 per order, and we'll give you the exact total before you pay.

How fish are packed

Fish travel in sealed bags with plenty of air and live baby brine shrimp, so they have food on the way.

Weather holds

Live fish shouldn't sit in a truck in freezing or extreme heat. If temperatures along the route are unsafe, we'll contact you and hold the order until conditions improve.

Live arrival

Live arrival is guaranteed. If a fish arrives dead, send us a photo of it in the unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery and we'll replace it. You choose how it ships: free with your next order, or right away at half off shipping.

The guarantee doesn't cover losses caused on the buyer's end, such as:

• A wrong or incomplete shipping address
• A package left sitting after delivery, or not picked up from a FedEx hold location
• Fish that die after being added to the aquarium

When your fish arrive

Open the box in a dim room, float the bags to match temperature, and acclimate slowly. Full steps are in the care guide.
